Fr Flynn and his Brooklyn days

A story from 1954 and what became of Father Flynn I wonder?

Home on holidays in time for his mother’s 100th birthday was Rev Peter J. Flynn, St. Vincent Ferrer Rectory, Brooklyn, New York.

Father Flynn’s mother resided at Carntown. Monasterboice, and was to celebrate her 100th birthday on August 4th, 1954. Mrs Flynn was up every day at Mass, we reported back then.

Father Flynn, who was on the U.S. Missions for many years, was Chaplain to the Catholic McAuley Commercial High School.
