Our U 14 boys and girls teams will participat­e in Féile Peile Na nÓg competitio­n on June 29th, 30th and July 1st. Host families are still needed to provide accommodat­ion for teams travelling to the competitio­n, you do not need to have a child involved in the Féile to provide accommodat­ion, if you can help out in any way please contact Anne-Marie Martin.

The club will be hosting I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here in the Ardee Parish Centre in May. If you would like to take part please contact Dessie Levins or Anita Halpenny.

Bingo takes place every Friday night in the Ardee Parish Centre from 8pm. There are some great cash prizes to be won on the night including the winner takes all flyer. Next weeks jackpot is: €5,100

Juvenile Registrati­on was held in our clubrooms recently and it was brilliant to see such a great turnout. We provide football for ALL ages from our Nursery Programme, U7, U8, U9, U10 upwards to Minor and of course Senior. Our Juveniles enjoyed a very successful and FUN year in 2017 putting in a fantastic effort at training and blitzes.

Training for ALL AGES is starting this Friday 6th April at 6.30pm in our pitch, new and existing members are very welcome! MILLMOUNTH­ANDBALL

OUR new schedule for 60x30 softball training at Kingscourt will begin on Monday 16th April any club players wishing to purchase new 60x30 handballs for their training can contact Niall Farrelly.

As usual our 40x20 juvenile training at Gormanston College sports complex will continue every Tuesday night until further notice.

Well done to club man J Kelly who was appointed by GAA Handball CCC to officiate the mens All- Ireland senior doubles match between P Brady/M Finnegan Cavan v Patrick/Peter Funchion Kilkenny at Kingscourt club last Saturday.

The All-Ireland senior doubles finals takes place next Saturday 7th April at Kingscourt any club members wishing to purchase tickets for the finals can contact our club secretary asap please, a full weekend ticket including senior final adult cost €25, juvenile/OAP cost €15, senior final only ticket adult €15, juvenile/ OAP €15.

The club are delighted to announce an all stars handball players line up for our promotiona­l handball demonstrat­ion day.

All-Ireland senior singles champion Martina Mc Mahon from Limerick, and All-Ireland ladies intermedia­te singles champion Megan McCann from Armagh will be the ladies line up. Mens All-Ireland champion David Hope and Minor singles champion Sean Kerr will be the mens line up. GAA Handball president Joe Masterson will also be attending on the day. This not to be missed event is free so please come along and enjoy the fun. Refreshmen­ts will be served throughout the day, spot prizes, face painting etc. The venue for this fabulous event will take place at St Marys Diocesan School on Sunday 29th April at 2pm.

THERE was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne’s Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 28th March. The winning numbers were 11, 17, 18, & 26. Louth fans headed to Stabannon today to support the Ladies in their quest to beat table toppers Wicklow. It was a game where Wicklow dominated and in the end it was Wicklow who continued their winning form with a five point win. Final Score Wicklow 0-12 Louth Ladies 0-7. Hard luck to all involved especially the Finbarrs ladies players, Deirbhle Osborne, Roisin Osborne, Leanne Sharkey and Shauna Markey.

Naomh Fionnbarra/ Lannleire Feile team are holding a fundraiser Table quiz on Friday 13th of April at 8.30pm in the Grove Hotel Dunleer. This is in aid of the upcoming Feile weekend in June. Please help us and support this night. Thank you.

The ladies are hosting a clother collection at Naomh Fionnbarra clubrooms at John Markey Park on April 13th 7:30-9:00pm and on April 14th 11:00am-1:00pm. Planning a wardrobe clear out or have some clothes away in the attic you need to get rid of?? Take it to our clothes collection day and help raise funds for our club.

Very exciting year ahead for our U14/U13 team!! The John West Féile Peile na nÓg 2018 tournament is being hosted by Down, Louth & Meath on the weekend of Friday 29th June – Sunday 1st July 2018 and our Club along with Lannleire will be hosting teams and games in our Parish watch out for further details soon .

The exercise track at John Markey Park is open for use, so feel free to come along and do your walking in safe surroundin­gs. There is a social membership fee of €25 to cover the cost of insurance, which can be paid to any committee member. You will then be issued with a membership card, all those who are contributi­ng to Club Barrs or already have membership paid are covered. We welcome everyone to come along and enjoy the facilities.

Supporter’s of the club can buy club gear directly from the O’Neills Website. There are some new items available online.

We will be hosting a Kellogs GAA Cúl Football and Hurling Camp again this year from Monday 30th July to Friday 3rd August. Online booking commences on 1st March.

O RAGHALLAIG­H’S

OUR Senior Men’s team start their 2018 League campaign on Sunday 8th April, away to St Finbarrs. Throw in is at 11.30am. All support welcome.

Our U14 team face off against Newtown Blues this Wednesday at home. Throw in is at 7.00pm

Our academy for 4-6 year olds starts back this Saturday, 14th of April from 11 until 12. Both new and existing children welcome.

Our annual juvenile awards night will take place on Friday 6th April at 7.30pm. Players, as well as their families, are all invited to attend.

The lotto numbers drawn on 26th March were 4, 7, 16, 19. The lucky-dip winners were: David Duffy, Noel Mooney, Mary Rogan & Tim Curran. The jackpot wasn’t won and rises to €10,050.

We are working closely with Wolfe Tones GFC who have been selected to run a Gaelic 4 Girls programme. One of only 10 clubs in Leinster chosen!!! The programme is aimed at girls aged 8-12 who have NEVER played Gaelic before & aims to give them all the basic skills they need to integrate into Gaelic football. Programme will start Wednesday 11th April 7-8pm and run for 8 weeks. All participan­ts will receive an official LGFA Gaelic for girls training t shirt and will be eligible to play in a provincial blitz on 16th June.
