Organisers are all geared up for the Duleek Cystic Fibrosis 10k race

OVER the last five years, the annual Duleek Cystic Fibrosis 10k has raised over €100,000 and the organisers are hoping to boost that sum considerab­ly at this year’s event.

It takes place in Duleek on April 28.

The event honours the memory of cousins Cathy O’Brien and Kelley Noone and all the families touched by Cystic Fibrosis (CF).

The aim of the event is to increase public awareness about CF and to raise funds for the local Drogheda branch.

There will be music on route , burgers , refreshmen­ts , tea / coffee, water Stations and toilet facilities.

All walkers, Joggers and runners welcome. New Technical Running 2018 T-Shirt for the first 300 registered and they have a clock for self-timing and a very important medal at the finish line.
