7-0 win for the Duleek FC champs
DULEEK FC secured the Divison 1 league title with a 7-0 victory over Athboy on Sunday at thE Tollstone. The result was never in doubt, Stephen Corry putting the home side 1-0 ahead inside 60 seconds.
Goals came in quick succession for Tommy Tuohy, Kevin Carroll and Shane McCartan making it 4-0 at half time.
The second half was much the same with two more goals for Tuohy and perhaps the goal of the match for centre half Adrian Hillman (pictured), playing a one-two in his own half, running 80 yards and smacking it past the keeper.
Duleek won the league with still two games remaining and sees them return to the top flight after more than five years. They remain unbeaten after 20 games.
