BOYLE’s of Slane will play host to an exciting visitor from the Big Apple next month, as part of its ‘Purple Sessions’.

Deni Bonet is a New York City-based pop/rock singer/songwriter and classicall­y trained violinist, who will appear in Boyle’s on Thursday, April 12th as part of a tour of Ireland.

Her brand new album, Bright Shiny Objects, has just been released on Zip Records/Sony-RED, and is already receiving incredible reviews from some of the most prestigiou­s music publicatio­ns with the Wall Street Journal describing her as “Sheryl Crow meets the B-52’s.

She began her career as a featured performer on the National Public Radio show, Mountain Stage before leaving to pursue a solo career.

Proving there’s more to the violin than concertos and hoedowns she has recorded and performed with luminaries such as Cyndi Lauper, REM, Indigo Girls, Warren Zevon and Ireland’s own Mundy among others. others, as well as performing her own music around the world.
