HGV’s rip up Platin Road

HGV’S are ripping up the Platin Road - but Louth County Council seem to be powerless to act as there is somply no alternative route for the trucks to go.

The deplorable state of the roads in the area was raised at the council meeting last Monday with engineer Martina Sheeran saying she wasn’t sure if there was an alternative route for HGVs, but the council would look at it.
