Lourdes Youth Choir launch their fantastic new CD

VIP doors open at 6pm and standard doors open at 7pm. THE Lourdes Youth choir will launch their new CD “Manus Salvus” (Safe Hands) on Tuesday 24th of April 7.30pm in the Lourdes church.

Last February one of their members was diagnosed with MS and as a way to support her, this CD was a venture the girls took on. It is a five track CD all pieces chosen by the member and her family. The money raised through the sale of this CD will go towards treatment required during relapses and a donation in December 2018 to MS Louth. The exhibition starts at 7.45pm.

IT should be quite a day on Saturday April 28 when the Newtown Blues legends take to the field as a fundraiser for the Feile U14 boys and Girls.. Boys and girls aged 35 plus are warmly invited. The Blues Legends will face a ‘Blow Ins’ selection. there is a swamp, water and muck in abundance. AND - the Piece de Resistance – the Harbour challenge.

It all starts at 11am and there’s Chip Timing on the day. The first 300 registered will be guaranteed a top quality technical t-shirt.
