ONE event that has been part and parcel of Drogheda life down the years is the annual May Day Procession of Our Lady of Fatima and St Joseph the Worker’ which takes place in Drogheda on Tuesday May 1.

People are asked to assemble at the Lourdes Church at 6.45pm and the procession goes via Bothar Brugha, Georges St, Narrow West St, to arrive for 7.30pm mass in St Peter’s Church.

The Lourdes Brass Band will lead the procession and all are welcome to come along and be part of the event.
