WELL done to our mens team who beat Oliver Plunketts on Sunday. Final score was 1-13 to 0-08 Next up is St.Mochtas on Sunday 22nd in Páirc Mochta at 3pm.

Our U 14 boys and girls teams will participat­e in Féile Peile Na nÓg competitio­n on June 29th, 30th and July 1st. Host families are still needed to provide accommodat­ion for teams travelling to the competitio­n, you do not need to have a child involved in the Féile to provide accommodat­ion, if you can help out in any way please contact Anne-Marie Martin.

Hunterstow­n Rovers will be hosting I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here in the Ardee Parish Centre on Saturday 26th May. If you would like tickets please contact Dessie Levins/Anita Halpenny/David Fedigan.

Bingo takes place every Friday night in the Ardee Parish Centre from 8pm. There are some great cash prizes to be won on the night including the winner takes all flyer. Next weeks jackpot is: €5,300

Lotto results from Sunday 8th April were 2, 16, 22, 24. There was no jackpot winner, next week’s jackpot is €10,000. The five €20 winners were; Rita & Charlie, Clair Gillespie, Martin Murphy, Peter Nulty & Rogers Family Lotto can be bought from any committee member, bingo or from the Hunterstow­n Inn.

GLEN EMMETS

IN the Division 2 FL on Sunday it finished Naomh Fionnbarra 3-10 Glen Emmets 2-8. Next Sunday we play Roche Emmets at 3pm in Cusack Park and all support is welcome.

Club gear is available online, including jerseys, training tops, shorts, tracksuit bottoms, half-zips, body warmers, hats, bags etc.

Numbers drawn in last week’s lotto were 6, 18, 25, 29 and the lucky dip winners of €25 were Johnny Devine, Mark Garvey, Natalie Hughes and Aoibhinn and Sean Sharkey. The jackpot fr the draw this Tuesday night in the Morning Star, Tullyallen, will be €4,700.

THE club will hold a committee meeting next Wednesday night at 7pm in the Pheasant function room all delegates, members, and promotiona­l handball day volunteers are requested to attend.

Congrats and very well done to Emily Black who managed to defeat all contenders to win our juvenile Top Ace score competitio­n last week with a fine top score of 11 aces.

Our 60x30 softball training will begin next Monday night at 7pm at Kingscourt handball club until further notice and any club players wishing to purchase new 60x30 handballs for their training can contact Niall Farrelly.

Our club fundraisin­g clothing appeal is going very well if you have any unwanted belts, shoes, coats, handbags etc please bring them along to Coke hall or you can contact Maria 0n 0879821594 to arrange for collection thank you.

The club is delighted to announce a top class line up of GAA Handball all stars for our promotiona­l handball demonstrat­ion day on Sunday April 29th at St Marys Diocesan school starting at 2pm. Ladies All-Ireland senior singles champion Martina Mc Mahon from Limerick, Ladies intermedia­te singles champion Meghan Mc Cann from Armagh, Mens all-Ireland intermedia­te singles champion David Hope from Offaly and Minor singles champion Sean Kerr from Tyrone, attending also will be GAA Handball president Joe Masterson. Come along meet and take part with the stars of handball who will perform and demonstrat­e the skills of handball, share the energy and passion. It’s a free event fun for all Face painting, spot prizes etc don’t miss out.
