St Vincent’s draw little comfort
ST VINCENT’S MOYNALTY 0-6 0-6
TWO teams who operated in the Junior ‘B’ Championship ranks in recent years played out a low-scoring draw in difficult conditions at Dunganny last Tuesday evening.
Moynalty’s top scorer Paul Lynch registered the last two points of the game to force a share of the spoils.
With the advantage of the noticeable breeze in the first half Moynalty led 0-3 to 0-1 at the end of the opening quarter before settling for a 0-3 to 0-2 lead at the break.
Richie O’Sullivan levelled the sides from a 45’ at the start of the second period before Lynch restored a narrowest of leads for Moynalty.
Three successive points briefly left the Ardcath men in the ascendancy, but they were unable to hold on as their opponents finished stronger.
