DULEEK WOMENS FORUM

After 32 years Duleek Women’s Forum are still going strong. To celebrate we enjoyed a lovely meal in Slane Castle on Friday 6th of April. Jackie Breen from LMETB joined us and was presented with a bouquet of flowers as a thank you as we have received grants from LMETB to fund part of our weekly programme for the last number of years. Detta Connor was surprised to be presented with a cake to celebrate her 70th Birthday and finally there was a surprise presentation to Greta McGuinness for” Woman of the Year”. Greta retired this year after being treasurer for the group for the past 10 years and she will be a hard act to follow.

DULEEK TIDY TOWNS

This year we will continue to maintain the rose beds on Mill Hill, the flower beds at the back of the Courthouse and the green area along Station Road. We will also continue working on our ongoing project at Paramaddan Park down at Abbeylands. We are looking for volunteers to help with this effort. If interested please contact Ann on 041-9823415
