Fiona manages Headlines studio

-

THE Headlines Hair Studio opens this Thursday morning at 4 Laurence Street in Drogheda.

In addition to the usual amenities of the salon, visitors are also sure to be impressed by the murals which have been painted there by local artist, Loretta Brodigan.

On the wall of the main salon, Loretta has depicted two ladies’ heads, one sporting a soft, bubbly hairstyle and the other free flowing manes of hair.

Inside in the secondary room, she has decorated the walls with paintings of Bart Simpson with a perm, the Trolls and Garfield the Cat.

Managing the new salon is Fiona Murtagh of Congress Avenue. Fiona trained with Eamon of Hodgins where she gained very valuable experience. She has recently completed a number of courses with David Marshall and Aidan Fitzgerald in the city.

Fiona has a wide circle of friends locally having taken part in various pantomimes and danced with the Wynne School of Irish Dancing. She was the Fairy Queen in last years pantomime.

The main stylist is Caroline McCullough-McGrath of Cherrybrook. She worked locally with Nuala McEntee for a number of years and, latterly, in Pat’s of Peter Street. Caroline is originally from Beaulieu.
