WILLIAM KING R.I.P
Willie King of tower road Mornington passed away recently. Willie, fondly known as Bilko, was in his seventy-ninth year. He is survived by his loving wife Patricia.
As Goldie (Willies brother) told me Willie and Patricia had five offspring, three kings and two queens (three sons and two daughters). Sons Willie, Jason and Mark. Willie was predeceased by son Mark who was only 38 years of age. Daughters Elizabeth and Catherine, brothers James (Goldie) Anthony, Peter, and Patrick and sister Margaret. Willie was also predeceased by his brother Christy (Columbo). He is also survived by his grandchildren, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relations and friends.
Willie spent many years at sea. He was a top of the range chef which he later put to good use when he got into the catering business. He also became a chef steward while at sea. He also fished for salmon mussels on the river Boyne. One of Willie’s traits was his friendly and peaceful aura that exuded from him. Anyone who knew him, and there were thousands, of all creeds and nationalities always felt comfortable in his company. I was proud to have been his cousin. Sincere condolences to his extended family and friends. May Willie rest in peace
