Fred Byrom killed 100 years ago in WWI
FREDERICK Ralph Byrom was a Drogheda man, who lived in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
He was killed almost 100 years ago while serving in World War I, April 28, 1918 in France, having enlisted in London.
He was with the Labour Corps and was 46. He worked as a grocer in Macclesfield and lived on the High Street, at Number 172.
He was married to Alice and they had three children, Gerald, Constance and Reginald.
