At a recent A.G.M. meeting the following officers were elected. Chairperson Noel Heeney, Assistant Chairperson Conor Brady, Secretary Ann Finger, Assistant Secretary Lorraine Clarke, Treasurer Annette Coyne, Assistant Treasurer Mary Egan, Participant Development Officer Annette Coyne.

DULEEK COURTHOUSE

There will be an Art Exhibition of Simon Coleman R.H.A. paintings in the Courthouse on Friday 1st June from 7pm to 9pm, Saturday 2nd June from 12 noon to 3pm and Sunday 3rd June from 12 noon to 3pm.

DULEEK WOMENS FORUM

We are running a morning trip to Rathoath Garden Centre on Tuesday 15th May, a full day trip to Enniskillen with a boat trip on Lough Erne on Tuesday 31st August, a full day trip to Knock on Thursday 16th August, and 3 nights DB&B to Clonmel Park Hotel and Leisure Centre from Monday 17th September. DULEEK CYSTIC FIBROSIS 10K

Remembrance Run/Walk will take place on 29th April 2018. Just One week to the annual Cystic Fibrosis (CF) 10K Run/Walk. We are hoping to see the past participants from our previous 5 runs and many new faces too. Every levels of fitness welcome. Our aim is to remember all of our CF loved ones, to increase public awareness about CF and to add to the enormous €100,000 (net) raised by the event to date.

We need to thank our sponsors for their generosity year on year. They supply the high quality Technical T-Shirts & Medals. If you can sponsor the event, just visit our Facebook Page please. All Proceeds to the local Drogheda Branch of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

This year together with Kelley and Cathy we are especially dedicating our 10K to a true gentleman Mal Reilly who we very sadly lost earlier this year.

CHECK THE VOTING REGISTER

We have an upcoming Referendum on 25th May. Residents are asked to ensure they have a vote and use it, no matter what way you vote. You only have until the 8th May to check the Register. You can check it on line at www.checktheregister. ie or it can be viewed at post offices and the Council offices in Duleek.

CEILI DANCING

Adult Ceili Dancing will continue for the next two weeks on Thursday from 8-9pm. Admission is €5 and all are welcome. Following on from the course, a ceili will take place in the Parish centre on Saturday 5th of May at 8:30pm with live music and supper provided.

DULEEK BELLEWSTOWN ARA

Duleek/Bellewstown Active Retirement will be holding a members lunch on Wednesday 2nd May in Glenside Hotel at 1.30pm. There will also be a Summer outing to Athlone Castle and cruise on the Shannon on July 4th, €20 deposit required by 2nd May.
