ARDEE & COLLON TRACTOR RUN

There will be a tractor run on Sunday, 6th May in aid of St. James Hospital. The starting point is Hoeys Timer Yard, Castlebell­ingham. Registrati­on is 11am with the tractors heading off at 12.30pm. The finishing line is at the Village Saloon, Dromin at 3.30/4pm . There will be refreshmen­ts and lots of spot prizes in The Village Saloon for all participan­ts. LOUTH MACRA NA FEIRME CALLING NEW MEMBERS

Louth Macra (Tullyallen, Termonfeck­in, Togher, Stabannon and Fanebridge) are you between 17-35 if so why not join your local Macra na feirme where we have plenty going on throughout the year in interested look us up on Facebook or through local clubs name to become a member and meet plenty of new faces.

Louth Macra Na Feirme are hosting their AGM in Connors, Dunleer on Wednesday 2nd of May at 8:30pm. Everyone is welcome.

THE WHOLE SHABANG SUMMER CAMP

Great news for the kids in the locality. The Whole Shabang Summer Camp is back this year. The camp is aimed at kids from 4 to 12 years old and involves Sports, Dancing, Art, Craft, Baking and lots more. There are 2 dates in the diary for Tullyallen this year, the 2nd to 6th July and 23rd to 27th July. The camp starts at 9.30am and finishes at 2.30pm. Children need to bring a packed lunch and wear comfy clothes and runners. Call Mark Hoey on 085 7280376 to secure your place. Registrati­on and payment will take place at 9.30am on the first Monday of each camp and costs €60 per child with family discount of €50 for the 2nd child and €45 for the 3rd child of the same family.

MEN’S SHED

The Tullyallen Men’s Shed meet on Tuesday & Friday mornings at 10am in the Glen Emmets Clubhouse. The Men’s Shed is a dedicated, friendly and welcoming meeting place where men come together and undertake a variety of mutually agreed activities. All new members are more than welcome to come along for a chat and cup of tea. So why not go along and see what it’s all about.

TABLE QUIZ IN A GOOD CAUSE

Local lady Martina Friel has organized a table quiz in the Thatch on Friday, 27th April at 8pm. A table of 4 costs €20 with all proceeds going towards Martina going to Lourdes to volunteer in June.

SOUL SUNDAY AT AN CROÍ

There will be a Soul Sunday performanc­e at An Croí, in the village. Mystic Fabric, songs, story and reflection­s inspired by Catherine of Siena with Carmel Boyle is on Sunday 29th April at 7pm. LOTTO RESULTS

Results for the Glen Emmets Lotto held Tuesday 17th April 2018. The Grand Prize Draw was for €4,700 and there was no winner. The numbers drawn were: 7,10, 24 & 28. The 4 Lucky Dip winners who receive €25 each are Rita Lennon, Joey Carolan, Sean Neilon Jnr. & Ignatius Traynor. Next week’s draw is €4,800. Tickets are on sale in Centra Tullyallen or any committee member.

CÚL CAMP ONLINE BOOKING

The Glen Emmets Kellogs Cúl Camp will take place this year from 16th to 20th July and online booking commenced 1st March. Get in early and make your booking to avoid disappoint­ment as this camp always proves to be a great one.

World Meeting of Families- ensure to register if your family and you would like to attend and celebrate the Festival of Families & closing Mass with Pope Francis. www.worldmeeti­ng2018.ie Alternativ­ely you can register in St. Peter’s Parish Church, West Street Drogheda, sacristy on Thursdays from 12.30pm. to 2pm.

Our LMFM Mass will be recorded on Saturday 28th of April and will be broadcaste­d on Sunday morning the 29th of April after the 9 o’clock news.

The Holy Cross Group- Bethlehem will visit our church on the weekend of 28th and 29th of April. They will be selling olive wood crafts to support the Christians in the Holy Land. Your support is gratefully appreciate­d in this outreach to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Pope Francis- Visits Us (World Meeting of Families, Dublin 21st26th August 2018)

You are invited to a series of meetings introducin­g the visions and hopes of Pope Francis for our families as we prepare for his visit to Ireland Each Wednesday at 7.30p.m. Commencing April 11th in the Community Services Centre, Scarlet Street, Drogheda.

For our Parish Pastoral Council Members and Pastoral Area Resource team members there will be a Mission and Outreach Forum evening in Dromantine SMA Retreat and Conference Centre on Wednesday the 2nd of May from 6p.m. - 9.30pm. Commencing with picnic style refreshmen­ts and concluding with an address from Archbishop Eamon Martin. Representa­tives from Rainbows and the Prevention of Human traffickin­g in attendance.
