€4,000 ride-on mower stolen in Baltray break-in

GARDAI are warning people to secure their personal property after a ride- on lawnmower valued at 4,000 was stolen from the rear of a private house in Baltray last week.

The garden equipment was in a garden shed behind the house and was taken some time between 12am and 12pm.

Given the size of the item stolen, gardai are appealing for witnesses, and warn anyone who is offered something of this value at an unusually low price to contact them immediately. They also advise residents to be on the lookout for suspicious activity and to secure valuables properly.
