Fined after cocaine charge

WILLIAM Finnegan (46), 28 Knockmore Park, Tallaght, Dublin 24, has been fined €400 for unlawful possession of cocaine.

Inspector John O’Flaherty said that on 30 October, 2015, the accused was found in the Termonfeckin area.

He was ultimately conveyed to Drogheda garda station where he was searched and €50-worth of cocaine found.

Finnegan has 50 previous convictions and has a 27 February, 2019 release date from Wheatfield Prison from an 18-month sentence.

The court heard he has four daughters, two of whom keep in touch with him. He also has contact with his grandchildren.

Finnegan hopes to staysclear of drugs.
