Drogheda Lions Club host a memorable golfing outing

-

DROGHEDA Lions Club hosted their annual golf outing recently, with a great turnout by supporters and members.

All the teams who played thoroughly enjoyed their round of golf and all commented on how wonderful the course is at the moment, the staff and volunteers have put in trojan work over the last few months to get it to the tip top condition it is in now.

The winning team was the Integral Health & Fitness, made up of Tom O’Connor, Guy Bates, Garry Harris and Noel Burke who brought in a great score of 92 points. 2nd place went to Paul A Moore and his team, all of whom went home very happy with a bottle of Listoke Gin each, very kindly sponsored by Listoke. 3rd place was Mr P McKay and his team who went home to Dublin happy with a return ticket in the form of a 4 ball in Baltray.

‘A very special mention to all our tee box sponsors, all local business and individuals, whose support is vital to the charity,’ a spokesperson stated.
