DUNDALK YOUNG IRELANDS 7-17 ST NICHOLAS 0-7

DUNDALK Young Irelands continued their recent good run of form with a comprehens­ive victory over St Nicholas.

The first goal arrived after just three minutes from Dean Maguire and four minutes later Peter McStravick added a second. Just before the break Dermot Mone got in on the act to make it 3-10 to 0-4 at half time.

The Young Irelands continued to dominate and substitute John Boland added the fourth before Jordan O’Donoghue made it five. Mark Kilgannon marked his debut for the club with a goal and point from his first two touches before Dean Maguire made it seven in the closing stages.
