Dubs too strong for Minor ladies

A PROMISING start wasn’t enough for the Meath minor ladies to overcome their rivals in this Leinster A Final at Kinnegad last Sunday.

The Royals also produced a late rally, but they were well beaten by a much stronger Dublin outfit.

Tara Berigan scored a goal as Meath led 1-1 to 0-0 in the early stages, but by led 1-9 to 1-2.

Lauryn Grier scored from the penalty spot late on, but that only managed to leave a more respectable look on the scoreline at the final whistle. half-time Dublin
