Skills competition goes down a treat
A GROUP of enthusiastic under-10 bowlers took to the mats at Greenhills over the last four weeks to play in the creative skills league competition.
Juvenile officer Tom Devin revealed that the youngsters are showing great potential and he was delighted with their performance throughout the league.
In first place was Chloe Dykstra, ahead of Robert McCormack in second and Jane Whelan in third.
The chairman Jack Howell congratulated the juniors on a fine display of bowling and offered a big thanks to the umpires and to Mick Toner for taking the time out to present the prizes.
Elsewhere Ciara Floyd reached the semi-finals of the Cooley open singles.
