ALL IN AN APRIL EVENING
Congratulations to Grainne Diskin and Duleek Parish Choir on the superb concert entitled “All in an April Evening” held in St Cianans Church Friday 20th April . The music and singing was wonderful and most enjoyable. The purpose of the concert was to raise funds towards repairs required for the Church roof which was damaged during the storm and the boiler also needs replacing. Thanks to everybody who helped in any way, so far the concert has raised almost €3000.
DULEEK CEILI
There will be a Ceili held in Duleek Parish Centre on Saturday 5th May at 8.30pm. Music by the Tara Ceili Band and supper will be served in the interval. All welcome

ART EXHIBITION – SIMON COLEMAN
Duleek Courthouse There will be an Art Exhibition of Simon Coleman R.H.A. paintings in the Courthouse on Friday 1st June from 7pm to 9pm, Saturday 2nd June from 12 noon to 3pm and Sunday 3rd June from 12 noon to 3pm. DULEEK WOMEN’S FORUM
Duleek Womens Forum are running a morning trip to Rathoath Garden Centre on Tuesday 15th May, a full day trip to Enniskillen with a boat trip on Lough Erne on Tuesday 31st August, a full day trip to Knock on Thursday 16th August, and 3 nights DB&B to Clonmel Park Hotel and Leisure Centre from Monday 17th September. CONGRATULATIONS!
Fr John would like to say Thank you and Congratulations to all the Boys and Girls who made their confirmation on Friday. A total of 96 children were confirmed by Bishop Smith and Monsignor Sean Heaney. Thank you to the Parents and family members involved in the ceremony and to the Teachers who work so diligently in preparing the children for their confirmation. Finally I would also like to thank the Sacristans, cleaners, choir and the Altar Society who made our church look beautiful for these very special days.

Duleek Heritage Group are proud to present the premier screening of “The Nanny River Source to Sea” in the Courthouse on Sunday 6th May at 3pm. This is a free event all welcome.
FOROIGE
In the coming weeks, Duleek Foróige will announce additional screenings of their acclaimed documentary “Remembering Childhoods of Times Past” featuring local personalities; Cathy McGrane, Michael Brodigan, Jim Curley, Jimmy Lynch and Mary Connell. It is also intended to produce a DVD of this documentary - which recently won a National Gold Award at a Foróige Awards Ceremony!! This DVD will be available for purchase in the coming weeks.
