It’s a Greene day at Drogheda 10k as Darragh storms to win

DUNLEER Athletic Club star Darragh Greene stormed to a stunning win in the Drogheda 10k race on Sunday - on the warmest race day in years.
The flying Greene led for most of the way from club colleague Thomas Cotter and he kept that advantage to the finish.
He came home in a cracking time of 32.47 with his fellow black and amber clubmate Cotter - back from injury - finishing in 33.32.
Simon Ryan from Boyne AC, a former winner of the race, came home in 33.57.
Up to 2,000 athletes from around the country took part in the event.
