Paddy McCourt (Finn Harps) ‘Form is temporary and class is permanent’ is a footballing cliche, and a very apt one for Paddy McCourt who despite his ongoing fitness issues continues to do a great job for Finn Harps. Having played 66 league games for Celtic earlier in his career and more recently featured in the English Championship, there has to be a temptation for the ‘Derry Pele’ to pack it all in at this stage, but during his brief time on the pitch he turned this game around in Harps’ favour. Having come on at half-time, he didn’t score himself but created both goals before himself being substituted in the 70th minute.
