Slane road back in action after repairs

Cllr Wayne Harding has the welcomed the completion of the works to a wall on the N2 Drogheda road in Slane village (below).

Cllr Harding said that, “it was a very complex task and complimented engineers from both Meath and Kildare County Council as well as the scheme contractors on what is an outstanding job. Tree and hedge growth at the top of the wall destablised it last year and it led to many months of a traffic management plan being put in place which led to a stop go system having to be put in place.’
