Drugs charge struck out after €250 paid to charity

Clifford Whitehouse (43), 50 Marley Court, Drogheda, had €70-worth of cannabis for his own use, the district court has heard.

He pleaded guilty to that offence, unlawful possession of drugs, which occurred at his home address on 28 July last.

The charge was struck out after Whitehouse gave €250 to charity.
