Alma’s AgriKids gets Social Entrepreneur All Star nod

-

A Drogheda entrepreneur has been honoured at one of the most prestigious business events in Ireland.

Alma Jordan, Founder of AgriKids, was accredited with the All-Star Social Entrepreneur for her work in the area of farm safety, at the fourth Annual All-Ireland Business Summit held in Croke Park recently.

Speaking after the event, Ms Jordan said starting AgriKids was an easy one, however getting it up and running and having it recognised within the sector has been the challenge.

“I have worked hard in bringing AgriKids and its resources directly to the people who need it most and to channel my energies into having it recognised within rural communities as a reliable and growing force in the area of farm safety education and awareness,” said the Drogheda woman.

“Being recognised for my efforts in educating children and achieving All-Stars accreditation is a great source of pride for me. I look forward to continuing to meet and indeed exceed the standards that have been set”.
