Raghs keep title hopes alive with derby victory

O RAGHALLAIGH’S remain level at the top of the Division 2 table with Hunterstown Rovers after chalking up a fifth straight victory against their near neighbours Oliver Plunketts on Friday evening.

The Raghs made the short trip to Mell where they earned the local bragging rights thanks to a fully deserved victory.

Daniel Morgan was the hero for the winners as he grabbed a hat-trick, while Ben Rogan chipped in with a fourth goal in a convi9ncing victory for the men from the North Road.

The visitors had built up a 2-6 to 1-3 advantage at the end of the first half and that exact same score was repeated in the second period as the O Raghallaighs ran out comfortable winners.
