Grand Prix win for Ardee man

ARDEE show jumping star Mark McAuley scored a comprehensive victory in Sunday’s three-star Grand Prix at Drammen in Norway, producing the only double clear round of the competition with Jasco Vd Bisschop to collect the top prize.

Five combinations jumped clear in the opening round, but McAuley and the nine-year-old gelding - who is owned by Eva Lundin - came out on top with a clear jump-off round in 56.30 seconds.
