Augustinian Garden to open

THE Garden of Remembrance at the side of the Augustinian church is coming along very well and the official opening will take place at the 1.15pm mass on July 1.

The garden will be opened and blessed by the Augustinian Provincial Fr John Hennebry OSA and the Augustinian Choir will be on hand to provide some uplifting music and song.

There are a few special features with the garden, including a Remembrance Wall and there are currently over 40 names for it.

Special seats have also been organised. It is hoped the garden will provide a place of comfort for people as they remember their loved ones.
