Secondyears shineforArdee school
A large group of students went to Santry on Thursday the 10th of May to participate in the Community & Comprehensive Schools’ Athletics Championship. Many trophies were acquired on the day.
It was a successful day especially for the second year students who won the overall team trophy. Rebecca Mc Carron got first place in the 1500m. Isabelle Delaney got first place in the shot putt. A group of second year boys came first in the relay.
Many of the senior students achieved success with Abby Sheridan coming first in the high jump, Donal McKenny coming first in the 200m and Danny O’Brien achieving first place in the 3000m.
