Plunketts pay the penalty in Fechin’s defeat

A second half goal from a Ronan Holcroft (pictured below) penalty helped St Fechins to come from behind and record a narrow victory over Oliver Plunketts in Drogheda.

The Plunketts were in fine form in the first half as points from Luke Haggins, Trevor Walsh, Cian Brady, Andy Morgan and Emmet Kelleher helped them build up a 0-9 to 0-5 lead.

However, they were unable to sustain that effort in the second half as the Fechins hit back and Holcroft’s penalty ensured they came out on top.
