O RAGHALLAIGHS ROCHE EMMETS 2-18 2-15

O RAGHALLAIGHS kept up their winning run in Division 2 but only after coming from behind at half time before defeating an unlucky Roche Emmets side.

The Faughart side appeared to be on their way to a very important win when they led by five points at the break. However, the O Raghallaighs came storming back in the second as goals from Ruairi Moore and Barry Flanagan saw them make it seven from seven.

Despite losing a crucial game to Glyde Rangers in midweek, Roche began in confident mood and Barry O’Hare struck 1-5 to put his side in command, while David O’Connell added a goal to put his side 2-8 to 0-9 ahead at the break.

However, the O Raghallaighs responded well to the challenge and Barry Flanagan and Ruairi Moore took centre stage as their goals ensured the visitors returned to Drogheda on top of the table.
