DESPITE hitting three goals, Seneschalstown went down to a narrow loss as St Michael’s pulled themselves out of relegation trouble in Carlanstown.
Niall McCabe struck for Seneschalstown’s opening-half goal, but at the break it was the hosts who led 1-7 to 1-4, with their goal coming from David Lynch.
Dylan Keating and Ryan O’Dowd raised green flags for the Yellow Furze outfit in the second half, the second of those goal leaving the sides level.
Seneschalstown only managed one point after that as St Michael’s had scores from Oran Meehan (two) and Shane McCormack to give themselves a precious win.
