Frustrated 15s held at home by Finn Harps

CHANCES were few and far between at United Park on Sunday afternoon as Drogheda United Under-15s had to settle for a point at home to a strong Finn Harps team.
Jack McCarthy in the Drogheda goal pulled off a few good saves and his back four gave little away, with Nick Pavlov and Jack Crowe strong in the middle when the visitors pressed in the second half.
An important element of the home side’s play was that they worked extremely hard for each other and in the first half especially the Drogs edged it in midfield.
The second period was a tough midfield battle, with neither side able to create a clearcut chance in a well-refereed and sporting match.
