Ardcath and Curragha schools hosting family fun day events

THE second running of theFamily Fun Day to raise funds for St. Patricks NS in Ardcath and St. Andrews in Curragha takes place on Sunday 27th May in Cushinstown Athletic Club from 12.30 to 5pm.

On the day they will have plenty of sporting events, from pony rides, soccer shots, long jumps, high jumps etc.

There will be face painting and lots of competitions with plenty of prizes to go around. Like last year, they will have the kids races, parents Tug of war and parents relay races.

‘We are hoping to raise funds to support development and learning resources for both schools. With kind sponsorship from local business like Irish Cement, Panda Power, Doran Motors, Tayto Park, Largo Foods, Caffrey Transport and Euro Farm Foods to mention a few, we hope to build on the success of last year,’ a spokesperson stated.

‘All are welcome along to come along for a memorable day out to support our local schools.’
