Get into gear for annual Drogheda motor show
WHETHER it’s a 3 door hatch back with metallic paint or a 5 door saloon with parking sensors you’re looking for, the motor dealers of Drogheda promise to have something for every taste this June Bank Holiday Weekend.
A firm favourite on the events calendar of Drogheda, participating dealerships all across Drogheda and Dunleer will open up their doors to showcase their 182 range of new cars on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd June for this special event.
The festival again takes place this year in each dealer’s showroom and the big message to locals is to get out and enjoy test driving the range of new 182 cars on offer across the 10 participating dealerships, comprising of 15 motor manufacturer brands.
By simply taking a test drive, the individual qualifies for a free local business gift voucher. Those who wish to place a deposit on a brand new drive during the promotional period will also pick up an additional gift voucher for either an annual family pass to Tayto Park or the equivalent value in the form of a gift voucher for Scholar’s Townhouse Hotel. Collaboration with the community has always been at the core of the event from the initial show back in 2010. From using local suppliers to working with the Maritime Festival organisers and local schools, the motor dealers sought engagement from the community. This year the focus is on supporting the local business community and the ‘shop local’ message.
The Drogheda Motor Weekender 182 promises something for everyone - the family buyer, the researcher, the sports enthusiast and the driver that is looking for that something special.
Each dealership will have its own event – from face-painting to balloon modelling; from coffees to cakes aswell as visits from Captain #BrandNewDrive. There promises to be a lot of choice for the prospective buyer.

The Drogheda Motor Weekender event is supported by First Citizen Finance, the Society of the Irish Motor Industry and the Drogheda & District Chamber. Finance decisions will be available throughout the event weekend.
