A meeting was held last Thursday night in Watters lounge in preparation for The Pride of Place awards in which Collon has been nominated to represent Louth in this All Ireland competition. It is a great honour to show case our beautiful village and all the great community spirit that is involved here. The more organisations and local groups that get involved the better. Also, everyone is required to get involved as plenty of help will be required. The next meeting will be held on Thurs 31st May at 8pm in Watters. Please come along; this is a fantastic opportunity for our village to shine even more. Let’s all get together on this. everyone very welcome.
