THE LINK TULLYALLEN

Work on the Link (walkway down to Townley Hall from the village) in Tullyallen is finally about to start. The contract has been awarded to Dancor Limited. and the work due to start at the end of May. The project is estimated to take approximately 6-8 weeks and this is all thanks to numerous people who have given their time and effort for free. A massive thanks goes out to Ann who put in some Trojan work. The landowners who granted access to facilitate the project. Noel McCann for all his drawings and advice. Barry Eaton for all his support and guidance. The Mayor of Drogheda and his Councillors for the donations to the project and Coillte who supported the organizers from the start and to so many more people. But funds are still needed to complete the project to a standard we all will be proud of. Significant funds have been raised by local businesses and not so local so far. Watch this space as will be providing details of where and how you can donate to your local project.
