Fr Richard Lynch

It was with feelings of regret, not only in his own parish, but in the entire region, when it was learned that the venerable pastor of Curraha, the Rev Richard Lynch, PP, had passed away, at the Parochial House, Curraha.

The deceased clergyman, who had reached the venerable age of some four score years, was in charge of the parish of Curraha for more than 30 years —since 1882.

He was a native of Drogheda, having been born at James St.
