MEMBERS of the local business community are invited to an important information briefing on arrangements for Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann 2018.

The event, which is hosted by the local Fleadh Executive Committee and supported by Louth County Council, will be held on Wednesday 30th May, from 6pm for a 6.30pm start at the Westcourt Hotel, Drogheda.

The briefing will be led by a panel of representatives from the Fleadh Executive Committee, Louth County Council, An Garda Síochána, the HSE and Louth County Fire & Rescue Service.

The panel will address issues that businesses need to consider in advance of the Fleadh and participate in a Q&A session with attendees.

Entrepreneur Gavin Duffy will also be on-hand to facilitate a special session for the local business community around the Fleadh Charter, which prioritises excellence in customer service and the legacy element of the Fleadh.

Gavin will draw on his extensive experience to discuss the longterm benefits for businesses who adopt the recommendations of the Fleadh Charter.

The Fleadh will run from August 12-19th and upwards of 80,000 per day will descend on the town, particularly towards the end of the week.
