LOURDES PILGRIMAGE

The Meath Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes 2018 will take place from September 12th -17th and will be led by Bishop Smith. The fare is €749 for full board and inclusive of insurance and travel taxes (single supplement €180). To book, contact The Presbytery 041-9827384. The first Meath Pilgrimage travelled in 1948 and this year marks 70 years of our Diocese travelling with sick and volunteer helpers to Lourdes. This is also a special year in Lourdes itself, the apparitions of our Lady to St. Bernadette began on 11 February, 1848, 160 years ago.

GREENHILLS SUMMER CAMP

Greenhills Summer Sports Camp will take place this year for two weeks: July 9th – 13th & July 16th – 20th. TIDY TOWNS

If you are interested in volunteering with Bettystown Tidy Towns please join us any Saturday morning at 10.00 a.m. at the beach entrance. There is more to it than litter picking, there is also planting, weeding, and painting. In addition we also need people to assist with the admin side of the Committee, organising meetings, grant applications, insurance coverage etc.
