Danny sports star of week

STARRING with Hand St., with whom he has won under-13, 15 and 16 titles, our Sports Star this week is Danny Nugent and he comes from a famous footballing family.
Danny is a grandson of the late Dan McEvoy, who figured on the Louth team in the 1910-12 period.
His uncles, Dan and Paddy, assisted St. Magdalenus and although the latter has been in failing health for some years, he still retains a great interest in the game.
Danny has won Divisional medals, under-l6 while he was on the successful Divisional minor team this year as well as figuring on the county minor team. He is eligible for the minor grade next year.
