LOUTH JERSEY FOR TRUE BLUE!
DROGHEDA principals said farewell to a ‘ team mate’ recently when David Madden called time on his successful period in charge at St Joseph’s Secondary School.
The Dubliner oversaw the completion of a major extension to the Newfoundwell Road complex.
At its last meeting of the school year in Scholars Restaurant, the Drogheda second level Principals presented a Louth GAA jersey to David to mark his retirement -maybe hoping he’ll switch allegiance to the Wee County from the Dubs now....
There was also a retirement function for Mr Madden hosted by the Board of Management of St Joseph’s in Donegan’s of Monasterboice where Sam Maguire make a surprise appearance.
