Oliver Usher auction rooms in Kells hosting sale of items

AS a preamble into the Hinterland Festival in Kells, Oliver Usher is conducting an Antique Furniture Auction on Tuesday 19th June at 5 p.m. in The Auction Rooms, John Street, Kells.

Among the many Antiques and collectibles Ushers Auctions has on offer are 7 Bookcases of various shapes and sizes. There is a 10ft brass grilled door breakfront bookcase also a 7ft mahogany 4 door secretaire bookcase and a Sheraton highly inlaid bureau bookcase.

Also included in this sale is a Fine Gilt Overmantel – 6ft x 4ft 6” which came from Eureka House, Kells. An Arts & Crafts Pollard oak bedroom suite stamped by Thomas Turner Manchester is also in the sale. Garden furniture and statuary also feature.

House clearances come from Longford, Punchestown, Dunleer and Kells. Viewing for this Auction on 19th is highly recommended.

Viewing takes place on Sunday 17th from 2 -6, Monday 18th from 10 -7 and Day of Sale from 10 a.m.

Following the Auction the Auction Rooms become a venue for Hinterland lectures and events.
