NAOMH FIONNBARRA OLIVER PLUNKETTS 3-7 1-13

NAOMH Fionnbarra produced a super come back from five points down at half time to share the spoils with the Plunketts in Ballygassan on Thursday evening.

Both teams went into the game keen to pick up victory with the Barrs looking to keep their promotion hopes alive while the Plunketts were hoping to move further away from the relegation zone.

It appeared as if the Drogheda men were on course for the two points when an impressive first half display capped by a Kevin Keogh goal saw them lead by 1-10 to 2-2 at the break.

However, they were unable to build on advantage in the second period as the home side responded well and as they hit back to level the game. The Barrs goals on the night came from Jack Butterly (2) and a Bernard Osborne penalty.
