Six months for having heroin and cannabis at Chord Rd
JAMIE Gallagher (27), Cerney, Sheephouse, Drogheda, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment for having heroin and cannabis in his possession.
Evidence was given he had €25-worth of heroin and €10-worth of cannabis at Chord Road on 25 October last.
Solicitor Dermot Monahan said the defendant sentence since last February.
He added Gallagher, a heroin addict, has been in care most of his life. He has a psychiatric condition and there is no support for him.
He has 46 previous convictions.
Judge Coughlan imposed concurrent six-month sentences for the two counts of unlawful possession of drugs before the court. is serving a
