Road issues on Oulster Lane

I WONDER with the closure of Laurence’s Gate, do Louth County Council keep an active eye on the streets that now take the majority of the traffic.

I notice that the road surfaces on Oulster Lane and Francis Street are showing signs of wear and tear and probably need to be constantly upgraded before they start to fall apart and cause real issues.

Oulster Lane in particular would be worth a look before big holes appear, forcing the road to be closed.

Sometimes tackling the problems before they start saves money.
