Four-year driving ban

Carlos Sabaliauskas (29), Windmill Road, Drogheda, has been fined €75 and disqualified from driving for four years for refusing to provide a sample following his arrest on suspicion of drink driving.

He was fined a further €75 and received a concurrent two-year disqualification for driving without insurance at George’s Street on the same occasion, 29 October, 2017.

Solicitor Barry Callan said the defendant, who was granted legal aid, works in a food processing factory, earning € 400 per-week.
